Dylan and Mikaela's Wedding - Reno, NV

Over the weekend, D.J. and I made the cross country trip to Reno, Nevada to see some of friends get married! Dylan plays baseball with D.J. and his new beautiful wife, Mikaela was one of my first friends in the baseball world!

We arrived on Friday later than expected because leaving DC we were delayed an missed our connecting flight in Salt Lake City.  We barely made the 3:30 flight to Reno! Luckily we made the flight, got the rental car and check into the hotel before we passed out to take a nap.

D.J. went to the airport around 9 to get the Haase's.  How cute is this little ring bearer?!

We are so thankful for this amazing family and with the news our our baby boy, it was great to see a boy mama for the weekend.  Not to mention how much I love Maria.  The three of us ladies were together so much a few seasons ago and I could not be more thankful for their friendship.  Having those friends that you "do life with" are such special people to have in your life.

The venue for the wedding was absolutely stunning.  The wedding started at 3 p.m. and thank goodness because as the sun went down it got chilly!

Mikaela was such a beautiful bride! Her dress had a key hole back and her flowers were perfectly simple.  I absolutely loved them.  They had 10 bridesmaids and groomsmen and it was so special to see how many people they have that were able to share their special day.

Sonny was the most perfect ring bearer ever.  When they were saying their vows, he stood right in front of the audience and photographer and his expression was priceless.

The newlyweds!

This cake was so simple but I loved it. And the cake was actually pretty AWESOME!

Before it got to chilly, we took some more photos and hopefully can use them for the Christmas card!

The baby bump is growing bigger and bigger every day! I can feel him move in there all the time! How handsome is my baby daddy?!

Baseball besties.

The  boys! We are so lucky to have such great friends with the Indians.  Who knows what the future will bring, but we know that these boys will be friends no matter what.

The three amigos!

And on the blog next is our trip to Lake Tahoe!

David and Julianna's Wedding Weekend

Last weekend D.J. and I made the trip up to Northern VA to see one of his JMU baseball teammates marry his dream girl.  The week leading up to the wedding I had found out that a dear friend I had known since I was 4 was tragically killed in a car accident.  I ended up having to choose between the wedding or the funeral.  Although it was an extremely difficult decision, going to the wedding was the best decision I could make.  It had me thinking a lot about life and the people you choose to put in your life, but maybe I will have to do another post on that soon.

Julianna (extremely ironic that the friend that died name is Juliana as well!) and David had the most beautiful day for a wedding.  Perfect fall temps, amazing decorations and a stunning dress.  The wedding was so put together, but felt so laid back at the same time.  The navy with gold accents made the venue look beautiful without being overdone.  The wedding was in Warrenton, VA at the Airlie Center.

I have to admit, I had to buy a maternity dress for this wedding.  Being outside I knew I would be freezing and I have no long sleeve dressed that fit!!

The beautiful couple! Her bouquet was STUNNING!

The JMU baseball boys and the beautiful bride.  I love this picture and I love the one I have from our wedding!

I am so thankful for this guy right here.  Having him at weddings is so much fun.  Next wedding is coming up in Reno, NV for some of our Indians baseball friends!

Carleigh and Conner's Wedding Weekend

After traveling through the night from Myrtle Beach on Friday, D.J. and I arrived in Charlottesville, VA for the special celebration of our dear friends, Conner and Carleigh.

We hit the bed around 5 a.m. and got about six hours of sleep before the guys went to grab lunch at Jack Browns (only the best hamburger/french fry/sauce/fried oreo place in the world - if you are ever in Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, Richmond, or Nashville you have to try it!).  Jaci, Brad's girlfriend and I decided to stalk them and grab some lunch there as well.

Then we went back to the hotel and got ready for the wedding.  They got married at King Family Vineyard in Crozet, VA which is about 25 minutes from our hotel.  The venue was STUNNING.  Food was delicious. Bridal party looked hot.  And seeing our friends was the best thing ever.  Enjoy the photos!

This sweet girl stole the show big time! Sorry, Carleigh!

How beautiful is the bride?! And she couldn't look happier!

They are married! Officially Brown sisters forever!

The baseball group. So thankful that JMU brought us all together.

Jaci and Bradley.

So thankful for our friendship and the memories we have and will continue to make.

Cork guestbook.

In memory of the loved ones they lost.

Beautiful cake that I cannot attest to the taste - I must have missed the eating part!

First dance - they just are so in love.

So blessed to have a man that works hard but also knows the importance of friendship.

Carleigh didn't hold anything back!

The Brown Brothers.

JMU DUKES!

Love. Love. Love.

And now that three baseball weddings are in the books, this hot couple may be next - who knows, she did catch the bouquet!

Conner and Carleigh,
We are so thankful for your friendship and so excited that we are both able to celebrate together on your wedding day.  You mean so much to both of us and cannot wait to continue to do life together.

Remember to always love each other as much as you do today.

Carleigh's Bridal Shower

This past weekend between baseball games, I spent some time showering the bride-to-be, Carleigh, at her shower! With the help of her little, Jilly, we were able to pull together a pretty amazing shower with some of Carleigh's closest friends!

We did bagels, fruit, cinnamon rolls, and these cute donuts for food.

We used lots of pinks and pastels in the decorations and Jilly's house was the perfect setting for the shower.  So open and airy - I loved it!

The mimosa bar was to die for.  I got some blueberry pomegranate and I was impressed with how delicious it was. OJ was the most popular, but everyone seemed to love the mimosa bar!

Carleigh got lots of special presents, but my personal favorite was the selfie stick for her to use when they go on their honeymoon in Hawaii!

Then we played some pretty funny games - Carleigh had to answer questions that we asked Conner and if she got them wrong, she had to stuff her face with a marshmallow! We ended up tearing them in half because she was missing too many questions!

I had such a great time meeting all of the girls and cannot wait to celebrate again in May at the bachelorette party! Carleigh, D.J. and I are both so lucky to have you and Conner in our lives.  I cannot wait to take Disney vacations with y'all, plan our babies together, and of course celebrate your love at your wedding in June! LOVE YOU!
