Friday after graduation I drove down to Carolina for the long weekend. I got to the game around the 4th inning and met up with all the girls! Since it was holiday weekend, there was a good amount of girlfriends in town!
Saturday we soaked up the sun by the pool from 12-4 and then went over to the field. It was a pretty good game, but they lost.
Sunday we laid at the pool for a little bit, did laundry and they went to the game. Everyone came in town for D.J.'s start and it was good to have the family there. D.J. did pretty well. He went 5 innings with 2 hits, no runs, 4
walks, and 6 strike outs. The team they were playing, Myrtle Beach
Pelicans, is leading the division and has some crazy good players.
Mondays game was at 12 so I was able to stay and drive home after the game. After taking a few pics, we said bye to all the girls and I got on the road!

Sounds like such a fun weekend! So glad you got to drive down and see DJ start! I am slowly learning itsy bitsy tidbits about baseball, so I do know that no runs and 6 strike outs is great! haha
